Can the work include a single competitor?

Yes. A single-competitor scope can be useful when a client needs to test a specific concern, partnership hypothesis or future threat. The comparison reference points are agreed at the outset so the output does not become an unstructured profile.

Can hiring, sponsorship and lawsuits really be useful signals?
