Background
A smart parcel-locker operator was redesigning recovery after a parcel could not be deposited, a compartment failed, an access code did not work or the delivery record conflicted with the physical locker.
The existing process produced different messages for couriers, residents and property teams. The company needed to determine which party should act at each point and when the issue should transfer to human support.

Why an independent customer view was needed
Separate moderation prevented the loudest party in the delivery chain from defining the entire workflow. Each group could explain missing information and unacceptable transfers of responsibility before the views were compared.
